This young man was born with multiple missing teeth, so we rebuilt his smile and eliminated the spaces with dental implants.

This was a difficult case to work through as the patient had a few teeth missing and just wasn’t happy with the way things looked. New porcelain crowns with better proportions resulted in a much brighter and symmetrical smile.

In the dental world, this is known as the dreaded ‘single central’. It’s a very difficult process to fix one single front tooth and make it look as natural as possible next to its neighbor - symmetry, shape, color, reflections all have to be managed. Here, we improved a dark and uneven tooth that really made a difference in the patient's smile. He loves it, and it’s made all the difference for his confidence. ⠀
Esthetic-functional dentistry can have a lot of applications and mean different things for different people. This patient had a denture that was well-made, but had teeth that weren’t quite in the right positions for her, resulting in a lisp and constant biting of her lower lip. Choosing a different size and shape of teeth, and putting them into a more natural position made a huge difference for her comfort and self-esteem.
