After your consultation and comprehensive exam, your dentist will go over the details of your dental health. If you’re here for a second opinion, we’ll offer honest advice about your diagnosis and recommend a treatment plan. If you come in for an implant consultation, we will let you know whether you are a good candidate for treatment and how to move forward to replace missing teeth.

During implant placement, a titanium post is placed into the jawbone, which will eventually mimic a tooth root once it heals.  Titanium has been used extensively and successfully in reconstructive surgery for many years as it naturally integrates with bone.

Dental implants can be used to support crowns, bridges or dentures. If you only need to replace one tooth, a single dental implant may be suitable. If you have more than one missing tooth, an implant supported bridge may be more suitable compared to multiple single dental implants. If you need to replace a full arch of teeth, an implant-supported denture may be most useful.
